SURPRISE!!

I hadn't been feeling well for about 2 weeks. I was tired, had a headache ALL the time, and felt queasy all the time as well. I didn't really think much of it, and in fact, neither did my parents or husband. However, my friend Ashlee thought it was a little suspicious.

So she suggested I take a pregnancy test while at her house. So while out grocery shopping together, we picked one up and I took it when we got back to her house. Well, it didn't take it long for it to come up positive. In fact, the instruction tell you to wait about 3 minutes to get the best results possible. However, pretty much as soon as I set the test flat, it turned positive. I was shocked!!

Yes, I was one of those ladies who was already 7 weeks pregnant when I found out. Surprise, surprise!!

I had to tell Josh so I sent him a text saying that I needed him to come over to Ashlee's house. He came over and it had to build up the courage to tell him that we were going to be a family of 3 (that's not how I told him). Although we were both completely SHOCKED at first, we both became very happy, excited, and nervous all at the same time.

We found out we were pregnant with our sweet bundle of joy on May 14, 2012. Our first appointment was on May 24, 2012. At our appointment, they did our very first ultrasound, and it was determined that I was 8 weeks, 4 days at the time of our appointment.
