My brother Ryan, my son Weston, & myself. |
Whenever I say that my brother's in the Army and that he's already done 2 tours overseas, people always ask how I handle it. Well, it's definitely NOT easy, never has been & never will be. But I place my brother in the Lord's hands. Yes, I worry & cry, but I'm human. I'm allowed to do that.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine having to go through another deployment, but it comes with the territory of being an Army Sister. This time is a little better than the other two, but also worse at the same time. He's going to miss most of the first year of his nephew's life. These past 2 months that he's been here since Weston's birth have been awesome! He's such a great uncle. I can't wait until we're able to Skype with him and be able to show & tell what all Weston is doing.
On an ending note, I just want to say...
Ryan, you're my brother & best friend, but most of all you're my hero!! I'm very proud of you & what you do!! I am one very proud Army Sister!! I love you very much & will miss you!
