Decisions, Decisions

Before I got pregnant, I never knew just how many decisions you actually have to make to prepare for the arrival of a child. I mean... I knew there were the obvious ones such as: name, nursery, baby gear; but what I didn't realize was the decisions regarding the actual birth itself and even after the babies born. For example, spinal block vs. epidural, medicated vs. non-medicated, which pediatrician to choose, and the list goes on and on and on!!

So far, we've made only a few decisions regarding our little baby boy.

First up, his name. His name will be Weston Allen Best, which I LOVE! His name is a little bit of a compromise between what J (my hubby) and I wanted. He wanted a Jr., but my dad is a Junior and I know how difficult it has been for him. So we compromised: Allen is J's middle name and then we came up with Weston.

The second thing we've decided on is parts of his nursery - the crib, bedding, and rocking chair. I'll show those in a separate post with nursery ideas we want to do in his room.

We've decided on the hospital he's going to be born at, his travel system (which I'm getting Thursday!!), the things to register for (which we're doing Thursday!!), my maternity picture photographer, Weston's newborn picture photographer, and that's about it right now!

So many more decisions to make, so little time!
